Theft crimes in Las Vegas are aggressively investigated by local police agencies, and if arrested, suspects are typically surprised by the multiple offenses that they are charged with.  For example, if an individual entered a Target store here in Las Vegas, with the intent to steal a big screen television, with a value of $2,000, he could be charged with theft, grand larceny, and burglary. A burglary offense in Las Vegas, Nevada occurs when an individual enters another’s property, whether it be their home or business, with the intent to commit a felony within, and this is why Mr. Michael was charged with burglary, in addition to multiple other theft related crimes.
