Multiple Bank Robberies Tied to Las Vegas Man

Multiple bank robberies tied to Las Vegas man. For the third time this year, a Las Vegas bank has been robbed by what police believe is the same man. On January 21st, 29th and again on February 6th, bank robberies have occurred here in the Las Vegas valley.

A man, the police describe as being between the age of 45-60 years old, weighing 160-180lbs, with brown hair, has entered multiple banks, handing over a note to the teller demanding money. Once the teller has handed over the money the suspect left the scene.  It is not known whether or not the suspect has carried a weapon of any kind during these multiple bank robberies.

A Robbery offense in Las Vegas, Nevada is a Felony, which subjects the accused to 1-15 years in prison. If one uses a deadly weapon during the commission of a crime they face an additional 1-20 years in prison, which must be run consecutively from their original sentence. Bank robberies are very serious charges under any circumstance but if a weapon is used, the prison time can be much greater than without.
